September 26, 2023 WEEK 7 Manila Philippines! 🌴
It has probably been one of the most crazy weeks of my life but so good!
The last few days of being in the Provo MTC have been super fun. We had our last classes on wednesday and then the rest of the days until saturday when we left have had nothing. We made this game called "secret hitler" and played that for pretty much the rest of the time we were there. We had to say goodbye to two of the elders leaving for Canada and Hawaii also so that was sad.
The rest of us woke up Saturday morning, packed, and jumped on all sorts of trains and buses to get to the airport. Our first flight was 1 1/2 hours to LA, our second flight was 13 hours to korea, it was so long I just kept on eating Nyquil pills every time I woke up so I tried to sleep the whole time and pretty much everyone on that flight just spoke korean. We completely skipped over Sunday and then got on our last flight at about 5 in the morning. The last flight was so cool because we all got to pick our own seats because the plane was almost empty. Me and my whole district all got window seats in the back of the plane with the rows to ourselves it was so fun. That flight also flew over most of our missions so I got to see some of Baguio from above!
Once we got to the Philippines we jumped into a van and prayed that the guys who were driving them were actually sent from the MTC. The driving in Manilla was CRAZY. I thought we were going to scrape the side of a jeepney or run someone off the road through all of the swerving and lack of traffic laws but we made it!
We got to the MTC at about 11 AM on Monday and had no time to unpack or anything. It was just straight to class. We all felt super gross because none of us had showered since Saturday and we were all really tired also.

ESPIRITUAL NA ISIP:
Sorry that this email has been so long but I have seen how the Lord blesses us so much when we have faith in Him. All of us were really completely in the Lord's hands this week as we traveled blindly as a district and he helped us along the way and we had no problem getting here to Manila. Love you all!
