April 7, 2024 WEEK 35 Rich Canadian Ministers ⛪️

Last week we met this super rich Canadian couple who are ministers for another church, last week they actually asked for Book of Mormons because they were so interested in learning more! But... when we came back this week to give the Book of Mormon to them it turned into a bash... so that was rough but I was excited to finally check getting into a mansion off my bucket list.

HIGHLIGHTS
- Meeting so many prepared and interested people this week
- Set 3 Baptismal Dates this week!
- This sweet girl we are teaching came go church on her birthday and after sacrament started crying. She asked if she can share her testimony over the pulpit next time :)
- The house is de-haunted we deep cleaned and organised everything
- Went to 3 birthday parties this week
- I got to go to this abandoned tunnel thing
- One night we explored a certain part of the area and like 20 people old young girls boys everyone came to us asking if we could teach them because I guess back then missionaries would teach them all in a big group like that. We were able to hand out a bunch of Book of Mormons to them it was really cool
- My friend from Baguio went to the temple open house!
- Service project of sweeping mango tree leaves for 3 hours 
- I bought a hammock :)
- Our schedule had to change because it is SO HOT, we aren't allowed out of the house between 12:00 and 4:00

ESPIRITUAL NA ISIP
Just something I've learned and have been helping our friends to learn is that God gives us trials because He loves us, if we didn't have trials we would not be able to learn, grow, and progress. This is the best gift God has to give us, to be able to become more like Him. Keep going everyone! I love you all ♡

  Keyboard ka ba? Kasi type kita... I love Tagalog pick up lines! this one means are you a keyboard because you're my type haha It has been such a great week but soo weird because we have been doing a few things for the last time! Homecoming- Touring the Philippines with Mom and Dad March 22-March 27

 Ashlyn was released from her mission on March 22, 2025 at the Baguio Mission Home.  Because President and Sister Wilson couldn't be there, The Caldwells came to meet us and help with her release.  This was a tender mercy because the Caldwells had treated Ashlyn like a daughter throughout her mission and watched over her from the day they found her in the Provo MTC until the day she left.  Originally, President Watt was scheduled to release Ashlyn over a phone video conference, but ended up having other obligations and he authorized her dad to release her, which was also a very special and tender moment.  A lot of tears of joy were shed when we saw Ashlyn again after 19.5 months and after she had to sadly take off her tags and say goodbye to this chapter of her life. December 23, 2024 WEEK 72 Naragsak a Paskua 🎅

HIGHLIGHTS - Christmas con!! We took a 4 bus ride down to LA Union and back so all together we traveled 8 hours that day. My favorite part of the travel was playing with one of the elders electric massager because it makes your nerves in your hand go crazy if you put it on your arm. We were all laughing so hard  - I got HUGGED by a 20 year old drunk guy - I also got super sick this week but luckily after a 5 hour nap and a lot of prayers I was totally fine to go work - The Caldewalls my favorite senior couple took us to some of our poorest friends and we shared a message and gave them bags of rice and veggies it was an amazing experience and we felt the spirit so strong - The branch Christmas party was fun it was mostly games and karaoke  - We just got news that our mission will now get phones for everyone so companionships don't have to share!! We are super excited about it - I started my French fries on fire in the microwave and smoked out the apartment woops  CHRISTMAS...
