August 5, 2024 WEEK 52 The Falls ⛲️⛰️

This morning I got to hike up to some waterfalls and it was so amazing! Ive been wanting to do that my whole mission it was so pretty

HIGHLIGHTS
- this area is progressing like crazy which has been super exciting because my other areas were kind of dead
- we had a new friend come to church... but... he was super hung over from the night before, he hugged my companion once he got to the church and then wouldnt let go of my hand when we shook hands it was hilarious having him come but also super stressful
- dengue fever has been going around
- zone con
- lots of peoples little kids showing us their tik tok dances they learned 
- speaking in devotional again 

CULTURE
The fruit season right now is dragon fruit and rambutannnn rambutan is a crazy red hairy looking fruit that tastes like lychee 

ESPIRITUAL NA ISIP

1 Nephi 17:3
And thus we sce that the commandments of
God must be fulfilled. And if it so be that the
children of men kecp the commandments of
God he doth nourish them, and astrengthen
them, and provide means whereby they can
accomplish the thing which he has commanded
them; whercfore, he did bprovide means for us
while we did sojourn in the wilderness.

Ive been trying to be more dilligent and exactly obedient this week and God has given us so many blessings and miracles. God sees your efforts and will bless you for them

  Keyboard ka ba? Kasi type kita... I love Tagalog pick up lines! this one means are you a keyboard because you're my type haha It has been such a great week but soo weird because we have been doing a few things for the last time! Homecoming- Touring the Philippines with Mom and Dad March 22-March 27

 Ashlyn was released from her mission on March 22, 2025 at the Baguio Mission Home.  Because President and Sister Wilson couldn't be there, The Caldwells came to meet us and help with her release.  This was a tender mercy because the Caldwells had treated Ashlyn like a daughter throughout her mission and watched over her from the day they found her in the Provo MTC until the day she left.  Originally, President Watt was scheduled to release Ashlyn over a phone video conference, but ended up having other obligations and he authorized her dad to release her, which was also a very special and tender moment.  A lot of tears of joy were shed when we saw Ashlyn again after 19.5 months and after she had to sadly take off her tags and say goodbye to this chapter of her life. December 23, 2024 WEEK 72 Naragsak a Paskua 🎅

HIGHLIGHTS - Christmas con!! We took a 4 bus ride down to LA Union and back so all together we traveled 8 hours that day. My favorite part of the travel was playing with one of the elders electric massager because it makes your nerves in your hand go crazy if you put it on your arm. We were all laughing so hard  - I got HUGGED by a 20 year old drunk guy - I also got super sick this week but luckily after a 5 hour nap and a lot of prayers I was totally fine to go work - The Caldewalls my favorite senior couple took us to some of our poorest friends and we shared a message and gave them bags of rice and veggies it was an amazing experience and we felt the spirit so strong - The branch Christmas party was fun it was mostly games and karaoke  - We just got news that our mission will now get phones for everyone so companionships don't have to share!! We are super excited about it - I started my French fries on fire in the microwave and smoked out the apartment woops  CHRISTMAS...
