December 11, 2023 WEEK 18 I fell...again 🧑‍🦽

My knee finally scared over from when I fell last a few weeks ago just for me to catch my foot on a half broken road and biff it on the sharp rocks haha. This time my whole knee got all scratched up and it bled a lot.

My favorite part of the whole thing was some little filipino boys coming to help out and mostly just wanting to touch it, also the owner of the Tindahan when I sat to wrap it up would yell OH Mercy! everytime Sister Cox sprayed alcohol on it.

HIGHLIGHTS
- Finally got a family on baptism date in January!
- An old nanay says "you are most industrious" if we ever visit her at night or climb up the hill for her. I dont know who taught her that word haha
- Sister Cox left me this morning :( I will meet my new comp wednesday
- I am not getting transfered so that means I will stay here and lead the area
- A TikToker with 1.3 mil followers came up to S.Cox and asked if he could do a photoshoot with her while we were doing a whiteboard activity in the city.
- We got street food this week it was a little sketchy because the raw meat had been sitting out all day and then after she grilled it she put it back on the raw meat pile while we picked out the vinegars. It was delicious though!
- Bishop plays the electric guitar
- Going to Baguio's Christmas Village!

CULTURE
I dont know if this is going on in America too but all of the teenagers are wearing rubber ducks on springs on top of their heads. There is also little clovers and mushrooms with really long stems that they clip straight on their head so it looks like its growing out of their hair.

ESPIRITUAL NA ISIP
"They who have endured the crosses of the world, and despised the shame of it, they shall inherit the kingdom of God, which was prepared for them from the foundation of the world, and their joy shall be full forever."
2 Nephi 9: 18

PICS
-The ads for the hair clips I was talking about
- Last day with sister cox
- This book a member wrote about Indian tribes that ended up kind of being really racist towards Native Americans haha
