January 28, 2024 WEEK 25 Trainer For a Day 🚸

Well it looks like I will stay here in Baguio for another transfer! That means I will spend at least a third of my mission in this area but Im excited 1 because we have been seeing a lot more progress and miracles and 2 because the Baguio flower festival starts on saturday ♡

HIGHLIGHTS
- Sister Tu'Ivai had to go to manilla again for her visa so I was paired up with the other American, Sister Mecham, who is training right now. It was so fun and she reminds me so much of my friends back home we pretty much laughed our way through everything. None of us are fluent in the language but we were still able to teach lessons and I think they understood us haha
- Sister Mecham got a virus thats been going around and has been dying so we stayed in for the first night and then worked until she literally dropped the next night so we just watched "the district" and told our life stories.
- One of our new friends read 15 chapters of the Book of Mormon after our first visit and asked when she could be baptised!
- I am freezingggg since our window and door still have holes in them our apatrment gets so cold. I know you guys in Idaho are colder but 50 degrees with no heater has been rough.
- I got reunited with my favorite dog who goes to all of our appointments with us.
- We stopped teaching a lady and when we went back after 2 months to check on her she thought I married a filipino here.
- Transfers! Im staying here with the same comp :)
- Our district became really close it is going to be so hard seeing some of them go
- At church our deaf friend came but brought her daughter with extreme ADHD so she pretty much screamed all throughout but Donna didnt even know.

CULTURE
When a filipino is confused they open their mouth but if what you say confuses them more they open it wider it is so funny

ESPIRITUAL NA ISIP
A small revelation I received this week when I was studying about some hard questions people have is that we dont always need to know every answer. God's plan is perfect so we dont need to worry about the little details.
Love you all ♡♡
