November 18, 2024 WEEK 67 Typhoon Pepito 👨
I have lost count of the amount of typhoons that have come through but they said there hasn't been this many since 1991. Typhoon Pepito was the worst one yet so far for us and it knocked out our power for the night and made it so we had to come home early Sunday night
HIGHLIGHTS
- Trying barbequed chicken intestines on a stick -10000/10 it was disgusting
- doing a "whiteboard activity" where we walk around with a whiteboard and approach people and ask them questions
- I gave another talk on sunday
- the Trike Puncher guy tried PUNCHING me while we were in a trike but luckily with the help of angels he missed and slammed his fist into the side of the trike. I for sure saw my life flash before my eyes though haha
- we had a recent convert come as a member participating and it was such a good lesson ♡
CULTURE
Now that we have been in a trio I literally ride on the back of a motorcycle half the time while my companions are in the side car part to get places.
ESPIRITUAL NA ISIP
This week I read a conference talk from D. Todd Christopherson about how God redirects our paths for the better.
I love his story about how a gardener cuts down a current bush and the current bush cries to him about how he cut off his growth. The Gardner reminds him saying "I am the gardener here and I know what I want you to be"
Because of the current bush being pruned back it was able to grow larger and bear fruit.
God is the Gardener of our lives and sees what we can become. As long as we trust in Him, He will direct our paths for good
PICS
- The chicken intestines
- a Karabaw (one of the animals Abra is famous for)
- whiteboard activity
