October 13, 2024 WEEK 62 New Trainee & Red Zones ⚠️

It has been one of the craziest weeks of my mission! I got my new trainee from Utah on Friday and they sent us to a zone known for being the craziest zone. Usually they don't send sisters there and especially not American sisters so we are just putting our trust in God that He will keep us safe :)

HIGHLIGHTS
- Abra is the zone we are in, we have spent the past few days just trying to find where the people live who we are teaching. The Elders before us did not put correct locations on almost anyone :/
- There are a few areas called Red Zones which just means we are not allowed to there at all, or some areas are not allowed at night
- We are whitewashing yayyy
- Before I got put with my trainee me and Sister Wardell (my last comp) got put in a trio for a week with a sister who had decided to go home early. It was a very sad week for her but I am so glad I got to meet her sweet spirit
- saying goodbye to all of my friends in Bacnotan sooo sad
- we had a SNAKE in our apartment
- Beach Kids built a big mound of sand and go flying down it in a toy car
- pretty much just being an office sister for 2 days while waiting for my new companion
- we got a brand new apartment that no one has ever lived in before it's so nice
- finally got to watch a session of General Conference!
