September 16, 2024 WEEK 58 Call The Police 🕷🚔

This week we had another one of those huge hand sized spiders in our apartment and it tried to attack me so we were screaming a lot, also our downstairs neighbors are police so one of them heard us screaming and came up in a police uniform and killed it for us with a broom 

HIGHLIGHTS
- Miracle Family!! The Aragon Family is a family of nine with 7 of them above the age of 8. This week they texted US and asked if we could have some lessons and then gave us the time they wanted us to come over. They also fed us dinner on only our second visit there and came to church as a family for the second time this week. The first week they came the day after meeting us they are so cool!
- on exchanges I tripped up a stair and split open my toe
- also getting followed at night on exchanges. We ended up having to hide out at bishops house for a while
- English class with the ward 
- a cockroach bit me on my eye (in my sleep) and it swole almost shut for a day and a half
- we had to leave church early and take an emergency trip to the dentist office 45 minutes away because my comp has been having major tooth aches

This is just a random line from the youth album song "a great work" but it really stuck out to me because I realized how true it is. I really feel like because I have given my heart to God on this mission He has helped me to find myself and I am eternally greatful to Him for that ♡ Lublub have a good week

  Keyboard ka ba? Kasi type kita... I love Tagalog pick up lines! this one means are you a keyboard because you're my type haha It has been such a great week but soo weird because we have been doing a few things for the last time! I fly out Saturday night for the Philippines and will arrive that monday. We actually skip completely over sunday because of the time zone differences. Homecoming- Touring the Philippines with Mom and Dad March 22-March 27

 Ashlyn was released from her mission on March 22, 2025 at the Baguio Mission Home.  Because President and Sister Wilson couldn't be there, The Caldwells came to meet us and help with her release.  This was a tender mercy because the Caldwells had treated Ashlyn like a daughter throughout her mission and watched over her from the day they found her in the Provo MTC until the day she left.  Originally, President Watt was scheduled to release Ashlyn over a phone video conference, but ended up having other obligations and he authorized her dad to release her, which was also a very special and tender moment.  A lot of tears of joy were shed when we saw Ashlyn again after 19.5 months and after she had to sadly take off her tags and say goodbye to this chapter of her life. December 23, 2024 WEEK 72 Naragsak a Paskua 🎅

HIGHLIGHTS - Christmas con!! We took a 4 bus ride down to LA Union and back so all together we traveled 8 hours that day. My favorite part of the travel was playing with one of the elders electric massager because it makes your nerves in your hand go crazy if you put it on your arm. We were all laughing so hard  - I got HUGGED by a 20 year old drunk guy - I also got super sick this week but luckily after a 5 hour nap and a lot of prayers I was totally fine to go work - The Caldewalls my favorite senior couple took us to some of our poorest friends and we shared a message and gave them bags of rice and veggies it was an amazing experience and we felt the spirit so strong - The branch Christmas party was fun it was mostly games and karaoke  - We just got news that our mission will now get phones for everyone so companionships don't have to share!! We are super excited about it - I started my French fries on fire in the microwave and smoked out the apartment woops  CHRISTMAS...
