January 26, 2025 WEEK 77 Traffic Enforcers 👷‍♀️

This week at zone conference we all got given these yellow reflective straps to wear day and night for safety when walking on the roads. I think most missions are now using them. Its definitely inspired considering how many times Ive almost been hit by a Jeepney

HIGHLIGHTS 
- Zone Conference was fun we had to give a presentation in front of the whole zone and then I also had to be the pianist for the whole meeting (I really should have stayed in piano lessons)
- we found a nonactive member and brought some YSA his age to his house and he said now is his time to come back and he even wanted to be the member participating in our next lesson!
- We had quite the FHE at a members house 
- lots of exchages but the new trainees coming in are amazing 
- we went to mc donalds and they were playing youth albums from the church haha
- our DCM ended up at a members house because the guy who has the key to the church is never around 

NIGERIAN CULTURE 🇳🇬
Sister Patrick told me a story about a mermaid getting found in Nigeria and said there is multiple real mermaids there so there you go

ESPIRITUAL NA ISIP
We show this short video in Tagalog to a lot of people on our first contact with them while finding called the "Prince of Peace." This week a certain part stuck out to me, it says: "if He can make water into wine, heal the sick, bring the dead to life, He can heal your soul, fix your broken relationships, and calm your troubled seas"
That is so true. God is a God of miracles and He can heal YOU too.

  Keyboard ka ba? Kasi type kita... I love Tagalog pick up lines! this one means are you a keyboard because you're my type haha It has been such a great week but soo weird because we have been doing a few things for the last time! Homecoming- Touring the Philippines with Mom and Dad March 22-March 27

 Ashlyn was released from her mission on March 22, 2025 at the Baguio Mission Home.  Because President and Sister Wilson couldn't be there, The Caldwells came to meet us and help with her release.  This was a tender mercy because the Caldwells had treated Ashlyn like a daughter throughout her mission and watched over her from the day they found her in the Provo MTC until the day she left.  Originally, President Watt was scheduled to release Ashlyn over a phone video conference, but ended up having other obligations and he authorized her dad to release her, which was also a very special and tender moment.  A lot of tears of joy were shed when we saw Ashlyn again after 19.5 months and after she had to sadly take off her tags and say goodbye to this chapter of her life. December 23, 2024 WEEK 72 Naragsak a Paskua 🎅

HIGHLIGHTS - Christmas con!! We took a 4 bus ride down to LA Union and back so all together we traveled 8 hours that day. My favorite part of the travel was playing with one of the elders electric massager because it makes your nerves in your hand go crazy if you put it on your arm. We were all laughing so hard  - I got HUGGED by a 20 year old drunk guy - I also got super sick this week but luckily after a 5 hour nap and a lot of prayers I was totally fine to go work - The Caldewalls my favorite senior couple took us to some of our poorest friends and we shared a message and gave them bags of rice and veggies it was an amazing experience and we felt the spirit so strong - The branch Christmas party was fun it was mostly games and karaoke  - We just got news that our mission will now get phones for everyone so companionships don't have to share!! We are super excited about it - I started my French fries on fire in the microwave and smoked out the apartment woops  CHRISTMAS...
